The urn is a sculptural vessel built for the long view: a rounded body that tapers to a poised neck, drawing on the classic urn silhouette and reworking it for the contemporary interior. Its proportions are deliberate, full enough to anchor a surface, restrained enough to never dominate it. This is an object first, a flower holder second, and it reads beautifully even when left empty.
The material carries an artisanal, rustic-bin character: a matte, lightly textured finish that catches daylight softly rather than reflecting it. In a warm neutral palette, the surface shifts through the day, picking up the grain of the light from a window or the glow of an evening lamp. Where a glossy vase shouts, this one murmurs. The hand-worked texture gives every piece a faint individuality, the kind of quiet imperfection that signals craft over mass production.
It belongs to a pared-back, minimalist design language, clean lines, honest material, no ornament for its own sake. That makes it generous to style. A single architectural stem, a loose gathering of seasonal branches, or a sparse cluster of long-stemmed blooms all suit its calm geometry; so does dried pampas or a sculptural branch for a more permanent display. The form flatters height and negative space, so resist overfilling it, restraint is the point.
Placed on a console in an entrance hall, it sets a composed first impression. On a dining table it becomes a low, grounding centrepiece; on a desk or shelf it lends an office or studio a sense of considered order. It transforms a space less by drawing attention and more by settling everything around it. Explore how it sits within our wider curated vase collection, or pair it with our editorial centrepiece arrangements for the table.
Each urn is chosen by Amicis for balance, finish and longevity, in keeping with our design-led approach to luxury florals in Dubai. Care is simple: wipe the exterior clean with a soft, dry cloth, empty and dry the interior thoroughly between uses to protect the finish, and keep it from prolonged direct sun. Treated well, it stays a fixture of the room for years.
